Three 2007 Dodge Nitro models will be available: the Nitro, Dodge Nitro SLT, and the Dodge Nitro R/T. Nitro and SLT buyers get a 3.7-liter, V6 engine that delivers 210 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 235 lb. ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm. Nitro R/T buyers will get the added grunt and displacement of a 4.0-liter, 255 horsepower at 5,800 rpm, and 275 lb. ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm.
