Specifications & Summary
Summary
One of our editors noted that everything about the 2009 Chevy Aveo seems built to a price point. Indeed, the cost cutting is evident everywhere you look, but the benefit is dubious. Equip, say, a Honda Fit to the same levels as our Aveo, and the price difference is negligible. The same goes for the rest of the Aveo's competition, which handily outclasses the Chevy in sophistication, style, performance, utility or a combination of them all. Unless brand loyalty is the most important thing to you or an American nameplate – even if affixed to a Korean car – is a must-have, we suggest you keep shopping.
