2008 Pontiac G6 GXP Brief
What’s Under the Hood

Pontiac offers the 2008 G6 GXP, available in coupe and sedan trims, powered by a 3.6-liter, dual overhead cam V6 engine with variable-valve timing and cranking out 252 horsepower and 251 lb.-ft. of torque. Mated to this front-driver’s six-cylinder engine is a six-speed automatic transmission designed to improve performance and efficiency versus a traditional four-speed gearbox. Behind the scenes are a sport-tuned MacPherson strut front suspension, a multi-link rear suspension, StabiliTrak stability control, and antilock disc brakes.
