The Nissan Altima gets a complete makeover. Aggressive styling, a new, more rigid platform and a redesigned suspension all work to make the Altima one of the hottest models in the Nissan lineup. A 3.5-liter V6 or a 2.5-liter four-cylinder are available, connected to either a manual or a new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The Altima is offered in S, SE or SL trim, with a starting MSRP of $18,565 for the S and topping out at $29,015 for the SL. Prices include a $615 destination charge.
