"I am very happy so far with my vehicle since I've purchased it about 6 weeks ago. Get up and go can be a little slow at times, but when it goes, its gone. I had to get used to the light pedal, because I would hit 85 mph and not realize it (my Camry had heavy peds). The radio controls are a little ways from the drivers position, as is the steering wheel. using the 4 and 8 o'clock position
makes it manageable.
The interior cloth feels like a washcloth, but has so far been easy to vacuum clean. As far as road noise goes, it is noticeable, but not to bad. The car does sway in high winds and big rig crossings, but what can you do when your cars weighs roughly 16-1700 lbs?
The stereo is great, and easy to use. Wish I had gotten a car with the changer though. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase as Ive have been with my Toyotas of past. My gas mileage on average has been about 39-40 mpgs, considering its mostly highway."

"Bought the car with the $500 rebate. The first two tanks of gas gave me 37.5 and 36.0 miles per gallon---both tanks were roughly 50/50 highway/around town driving. It is comfortable and handles the road very well. Back seat space for an adult is fair and the trunk is roomy."

"THIS CAR RIDES AND DRIVES WONDERFULLY. IT REMINDS ME OF MY PARENTS TOYOTA CAMERY. IT HAS A VERY SIMULAR LOOK AND FEEL WITHOUT THE PRICE TAG. I TRADED IN MY 99' DODGE RAM 1500 FOR A MORE FUEL EFFICIENT VEHICLE AND BOY THIS WAS IT. THE AMOUNT I SAVE EVERY MONTH IN FUEL COSTS MORE THEN MAKES MY CAR PAYMENT. NOT TO MENTION, I GET A BRAND NEW CAR OUT OF IT. THIS CAR IS ALSO LOADED WITH MANY STANDARD FEATURES. WOW! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAR TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR AN AFFORDABLE WAY TO SAVE ON GAS COSTS. PLUS, THIS IS A TOYOTA. YOU WILL GET MANY, MANY, MANY MILES WITHOUT A LOT OF REPAIR BILLS. "

" Handling and performance are what you would expect from a Toyota in this class- solid and reliable. Nothing to 'wow' you, just good quality. The auto-trans is very smooth, as are the brakes.
The seating position does take a little getting used to, but the interior is very quiet with a quality feel to it. Enormous trunk for a vehicle of its size. This car does have a tendency to get blown around on windy days; I'm hoping that better tires cure some of that.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my Corolla S, and am looking forward to the day when the bank no longer owns it. No matter what, you can't get this quality for the money from an American car.

"The car handles very well, and braking is quite good. Acceleration is decent, but you have to drive it quite aggresively to exhibit these capabilities. Comfort is so-so, as the engine buzz gets to you on longer drives."
