If you want a compact car, this is definitely the best one out there in terms of value for the price.

 Detailed review:
When I first test drove the Scion I was a little worried that the pickup wasn't powerful enough. But after taking my new Scion on a long trip (1800 miles in the first week!), I found that I really enjoyed the 'rougher' ride that it gave me on the highway as well as with city driving--makes it a lot of fun to drive. I didn't have any problems passing trucks or cars on the highway and it drove along smoothly and comfortably at 80 mph. Also, I was worried about the high rear headrests, but again, during the long trip I kept them on and had no problem at all with visibility (in any location--blind spots are minimal in general). The seats are very comfortable for long drives as well. I am petite (5'2') and I like the fact that you're seated a bit higher but can still comfortably reach the pedals; also, there are many features accomodating all sizes of drivers (tilt steering wheel as well as the ability to move the seatbelt height). It's true I haven't tested this with a person 6'; there may be space issues in that case. This is an *excellent* car for the price--no other cars I looked at could beat it when it came to value for the cost. The no-haggle pricing made my first car purchase much more pleasant as well. And the fact that it looks great and different from a lot of other cars out there is a big plus too.
