The D1 Grand Prix (abbreviated as D1GP and subtitled Professional Drift) is a production car drifting series from Japan. It was formed in October 2000 by Option Magazine and Tokyo Auto Salon founder Daijiro Inada, and drifting legend Keiichi Tsuchiya. Since the start, the series have become a benchmark for all drifting series and is the most highly regarded of them all.
