What's New for the 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo?
Other than a very rare (12 available worldwide) MOMO Edition of the Gallardo – which features special exterior paint, carbon fiber trim and a slew of MOMO badges – there are no significant changes to Lamborghini's entry-level car.

Advantages of the 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo:

• All-wheel drive for enhanced stability and wet-weather traction
• Stellar performance from 5.0-liter V10
• Turns onlookers' heads like only a Lamborghini can

Objections to the 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo:

• Minimal storage space
• Headroom a bit tight for taller drivers
• Poor pedal placement and easily worn clutch with conventional manual transmission

Editor's Advice:
It's fair to say that the Gallardo is the first Lamborghini that's reliable, functional and affordable enough to be used everyday. Not that you necessarily would use a Gallardo for school runs, of course, but that functional aspect does speak about the rise of quality that has come about via Audi's stewardship. At the $200K sports car level, deciding on a Gallardo over its competition – Ford's GT and Ferrari's F430 are the closest – would mean favoring its AWD drivetrain, massive-attack styling and relatively low production numbers.
