What's New for the 2005 Bentley Arnage?
There are a few changes in store this year. On the outside, the Arnage features revised front styling, including four round headlights, that brings the car a bit more in line with the look of the new Bentley Continental GT. The Arnage's color palette has been expanded, too, to a total of 40 possible exterior colors, not including the dual-tones. Inside, the Arnage's interior has been updated with a new dashboard top, better ergonomics and control switchgear, new instruments, an improved navigation system, and more interior hide colors. In terms of mechanical changes, Bentley says it has altered the Arnage's rear suspension to give drivers a better ride quality and a more consistent handling. Lastly, the twin-turbo V8 engine has been updated to meet the latest governmental emissions standards.

Advantages of the 2005 Bentley Arnage:

• Impressively opulent and customizable interior
• Traditional styling
• Available in regular or stretched versions

Objections to the 2005 Bentley Arnage:

• Older design as compared to newer Rolls-Royce Phantom and Maybach 57 and 62

Editor's Advice:
Both the Maybach and the Rolls-Royce Phantom are better cars to drive and far more technologically sophisticated, making "archaic" a seemingly more suitable name for the Bentley Arnage despite the updates for 2005. However, in our humble opinion, the Arnage is the nicest looking of this ultra-luxury sedan trio. The Bentley speaks the visual language of wealth far better than the Maybach and Rolls-Royce.
